The “Er” Months + 28 Week Update

The “Er” Months + 28 Week Update

Asos Jumpsuit (maternity) | Witchery Wedges (old) similar here | Nine West Clutch (old)| Camilla Scarf | Seed Sunglasses

My mother in law said to me that when the “er” months arrive (September, October & November) the pregnancy will seem very real.  This is so true. September is here and so is the third trimester of the pregnancy meaning we are only a few months away now from meeting our little bundle.

I am well and truly showing (have nearly put on 10kg) and can feel the little one moving plenty which is just a delight.

Putting together my outfits for work is becoming increasingly difficult.  It makes me laugh actually with some of the combinations I put together 🙂 It is really testing my styling skills 😉 Comfort is high on the agenda for sure. I have only been sharing my weekend looks for you on the blog – trust me you will thank me for this lol!

I am still loving Asos for maternity clothing. I have lived in the maternity jeans I purchased from there & also this jumpsuit which is a cool little find. Cotton On has also been great for comfy dresses and I have also picked up a few items from Glo Mama locally here in Brisbane.  I will be putting together a post on my favourite maternity clothing picks in the coming weeks so more about that later.

What else has happened during the third trimester? I have had constant cravings for things sweet – like I would be happy to just eat donuts for breakfast, lunch & dinner – which is very unusual as I am not a huge sweet tooth at all.  Steve & I have commenced antenatal classes which has been surprisingly interesting and useful. (even though it is taking up our next few Saturdays eek! Time is of the essence atm)  I am still trying to keep active but must admit it is getting harder as time goes on.  I am still visiting Crossfit Mitchelton about 3 times a week and trying to fit in at least one walk.  I still do not feel any closer to being organised here at home, hoping it will all come together soon. I have 7 weeks of work left until I commence maternity leave & something very important for other preg bots out there – I purchased a belly-bean. Its a maternity pillow and has helped me get at least 6 hours sleep at night rather than the 2-3 I was getting before hand.

In between all of this, I am thrilled to announce that I am in the midst of setting up the next phase to Barbara-George, a personal styling service. More about this soon. Things are hectic but thats the way I like it.

I have to stop rambling now! Thanks for stopping by & have a great week.

Love Barbara-George xo
