Thai Touch Massage And Spa Brisbane

Thai Touch Massage And Spa Brisbane

Last Saturday I was invited to Thai Touch Massage & Spa in Brisbane to experience their Touch of Paradise Day Spa Package. Thai Touch Massage & Spa is a serious relaxation haven located on Kyabra street Newstead (right behind Gasworks) and is new on the Brisbane scene having been open only a month.

Upon walking into Thai Touch, my stress levels were immediately dialled down a notch.  The modern decor, peaceful surroundings and smell of fragrant aromatherapy oils all helped me to unwind before my treatment had even started.  I was greeted by my very friendly therapist Nida,  who took me to the sitting room where my feet were treated with a rose petal soak, lemon sea salt scrub and massage.

I was then kindly escorted to a cosy, intimate and quiet treatment room for a massage and facial.  The massage treatment started with a traditional Thai technique. That means that your therapist (all highly skilled and qualified) will use their entire body to help relieve your tired muscles, so  hands, feet and legs.  Yep, I was walked on by Nida and it felt so good! Perfect for those who enjoy a firmer massage, like I do. To finish, a relaxing aromatherapy technique was used with warm essential oils.  I hadn’t had a massage in a long time so this treatment was absolute bliss in terms of releasing many knots I had in my back and healing a few painful spots.  From there I was treated to a mini facial which was even more relaxing!

The treatment took 2 hours in total and I can honestly say that my entire body felt refreshed – from head to toe – nothing was missed.  I have had treatments in the past where I walk away feeling like my feet or neck needed more attention.  This was certainly not the case with this treatment.

To finish, I was served herbal tea and refreshments and had a quick tour of the rest of the spa.  Upstairs there were three huge double treatment rooms. Two with the most amazing baths. It would be the perfect escape for couples wanting to unwind together or even a group of ladies celebrating a hens night or wanting to celebrate nothing at all except total relaxation.

A few days on and I am still feeling recharged & relaxed and my skin is still thanking me for the treatment. If you looking for a place to unwind than I would fully recommend trying out this place.  (Mum’s out there have this place on the list for your upcoming birthday or christmas gift) I also want to point out that there is plenty of street parking and Thai Touch is really central to both the Gasworks and James Street precincts so you can to treat yourself to a yummy treat or shopping afterwards to make for a day out. To make a booking visit the Thai Touch website here.

This is just what I need! Always good to go somewhere that has been reviewed so well!
