Pink Feather Cape

Pink Feather Cape

My husband and I took a drive out to Spicers Hidden Vale for lunch over the weekend and it was just delightful.  It was so nice to get out of the city and really relax  for a couple of hours.  There is something magical about the country and its ability to make you stop and just appreciate the simple beautiful things like the sky and the land.

On to other things of beauty, I just loved this pink feather cape by Alannah Hill from the moment I set eye on it. Yes it is a bold piece and somewhat intimidating but I plan to wear it several times as the weather gets cooler.  Do you ever feel intimidated to wear something you love because of fear that it will be over the top or that you won’t fit in?  If so, then can I suggest you put fear aside and push yourself past your comfort zone and wear that something! You won’t regret it.  The world would be a very boring one if we all wore the same thing!

This will be my last post for a few weeks as I am taking some leave over Easter. You can still follow Barbara-George’s where about’s (without the writing!) on Instagram and Facebook.  I wish you all a very happy Easter with lots of chocolate, laughter and love:)  See you in a few weeks. xoxoSignature
