I have been on holidays this week from my “real job” and it has been so nice to just plot around doing as I please. I could easily get used to it! Unfortunately the good times end on Monday so here’s to counting down til the next long weekend coming up in June 🙂 By that time Winter should well and truly have kicked in and jackets and knits will become uniform. When it comes to Winter, it doesn’t have to be all about the black leather jacket. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t disagree that the black leather jacket is faultless and will always be the most obsessed piece of outerwear for fashionistas, but there is so much more choice now when it comes to leather. In particular, coloured leather. Coloured leather can be a fun way to add a lively feel to your look, especially when the winter blues set in. I like the soft waterfall drape of this jacket and it is versatile enough to pull off both a feminine and a tough look depending on what you wear it with. It will also get me through those in-between times when the weather is starting to warm up again without looking too harsh. Outfit details below..
